Environmental Protection
As the songs say, "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone," and "You don't miss your water 'til
your well runs dry."
That is why we have important legal protections to conserve environmental resources: Open
space, clean water, clean air, agricultural lands, wildlife habitat, historical areas, scenic vistas and
outdoor recreational areas.
These laws typically are enforced by governmental agencies in the first instance, but government
agencies can make mistakes; very often citizens must act - must speak up for resources when no
one else will because for whatever reason, officials have failed.
The cause is just, with the future of the planet at stake, but the process can be very difficult.
We have a deep personal and professional commitment to environmental protection. We will
listen to your concerns and stand with you to make a difference on behalf of our precious natural
heritage.
